In July, 2005, Greg Garrison on guitar and Bruce Edmunds on bass united with Ken Lange on drums and put the ultimate blues rock band together in Portage, Wisconsin. Playing small clubs in south central and northern Wisconsin throughout 2006, they quickly grew tight and started turning some heads. In 2007, Scuttlebuttin' started opening for national acts at The Longshot in Woodruff, Wi. including Walter Trout and Anthony Gomes, an up and coming blues rock act whose live album on Ruf Records is now No.1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. Greg's mastery of the guitar got him invited on stage to jam with both Anthony Gomes and Walter Trout at the end of their shows. Scuttlebuttin' also opened for Charlie Daniel's at The New Horizons Music Festival in Manitowish Waters and played the Boulder Junction Musky Jamboree in Boulder Junction along with many clubs and outdoor functions. Ken Lange left the band in 2007 and was replaced by Nathan Russell of The Sound And The Fury based in Kansas City, Kansas. Nathan has picked up where Ken left off and has been a welcome addition to the band. Scuttlebuttin' is currently working on original music and is looking to fill some dates in 2008.
